Our Mission...

The mission of the Ohio Federated Humane Societies is to promote humane principles through knowledge. We do this by:

• Coordinating and enlarging the activities of the humane societies incorporated under section 1717.03 and 1717.05 of the Ohio Revised Code (ORC).

• Assisting and encouraging the establishement of new humane societies.

• Sharing information with administrative and legislative branches of state, county, and local government about the humane treatment of animals and their value to humans.

• Providing effective means for the propagation and dissemination of training, resources, and information on humane principles.
